Schantz Haus is the Homestead of Joseph Schantz, (Johns), the Amish man who founded the city of Johnstown.

The homestead is currently a working farm owned and operated by Bill and Jeanette Hunsberger and two of their sons. Those who stay will have the opportunity to learn Johnstown’s story, explore coal mining history, experience life on a working farm, and much more.

The farm is located in Davidsville, easily accessed off of Rt. 219 and close to other locations of historical significance.
