Alleghenies Tasting Trail Launches New Passport for 9 Counties
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: The Altoona Blair County Development Corp. (ABCD) along with the partnering Destination Marketing Organizations covering the 9 counties of Armstrong, Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Fulton, Huntingdon, Indiana, Juniata and Mifflin, are proud to announce the creation of the Alleghenies Tasting Trail. This is a free Passport program with more than 40 craft beverage locations where users can earn and redeem points for prizes just by visiting locations.
The Alleghenies Tasting Trail is live NOW, and will be celebrating at the Altoona Curve’s Pints for Vets event at PNG Field on Saturday, May 18th. At the event, the Trail will have a booth where people can receive free items as well as register for the pass and a chance to win all 3 Trail Prize Redemptions. Participants can sign-up for a free Alleghenies Tasting Trail Passport at www.AllegheniesTastingTrail.com
Prize redemption items include a custom Corkscrew Waiter’s Tool, 3-in-1 Tumbler and a Koozie® Backpack Cooler. This is the first tasting trail passport program for our region. It join’s Pennsylvania’s 14 existing trails that have all seen great success for the businesses and opportunities for tourists and residents to explore new locations throughout the state.
