Portage 2024 Winterfest

This year’s theme is a Charlie Brown Christmas. Free smores and hot chocolate are offered along with the tree lighting and caroling. Sleigh rides will be available, too. The business and organizations of Portage will participate throughout the Winterfest. Basket parties, a parade with Santa, games, music concert, escape room, story time, food, a traveling cup of cheer and lots of fun are planned. A house lighting contest with cash prizes and trophies will be awarded and a house lighting tour is planned. Vote for your favorite Charlie Brown tree. Adopt a Peanut is available where you can purchase a stick figure of a Peanut’s character, decorate and clothe your Peanut and they will be displayed on the parking meters on Main Street.
