Located in downtown Johnstown, the Arena is home to the Johnstown Tomahawks junior hockey team and the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown hockey team.

Because the Cambria County War Memorial Arena has such a rich hockey history, the Arena was awarded the title of the 1st Kraft Hockeyville USA.

Additionally, the arena has hosted basketball, hockey, and wrestling tournaments; cheerleading exhibitions, an indoor football league, and many other sporting events.  Public ice skating times are available.
