As the sun and moon switch places, we will observe birds on and around the lake. Starting at the Prince Gallitzin Marina and walking along Gibbons Road.
Enjoy time learning about turkeys! We will read a story, sing a song, and go outside looking for signs of turkeys. Program geared toward preschool - 6years of age.
Enjoy a loop hike through field and forest where the animals that are often portrayed as spooky make their homes. We will look for spider webs attached to plant stems and hollow trees where owls might nest along with the different foraging areas of bats.
Enjoy seeing the bounty of our woodlands as we walk under the colors of fall. Learn and pick some edibles to help with invasive species control.
Prince Gallitzin hosts an annual Apple Cider Festival each year. This event features cider making by a local Boy Scout Troop using a hand-cranked cider press, hayrides, live music, chainsaw carvings, hundreds of food and craft vendors, and more!
Enjoy learning some fun facts about owls and dissect a pellet too!
