The Christmas Tree in Central Park – A Holiday Tradition
The Story…
In 2015, the Discover Downtown Johnstown Partnership had a vision to place an animated Christmas Tree in Central Park. With the help of over 100+ sponsor contributions, this vision became a reality…The Christmas Tree at Central Park is a 36 ft. tall tree with animated lights synced up to your favorite holiday music, and has become a major tourist attraction when the snow starts to fall and carols fill the air! The display was also named “One of the 15 Best Holiday-Light Displays in the USA” (Macaroni Kid) “Simply Incredible!”
See the Tree in Action!
While the best way to see the Christmas Tree in Johnstown’s Central Park is in person, you can watch the video below to see what the tree is all about. The video below features the tree during a snowstorm with music from for King and Country!
The tree is lit daily from Noon – 1 PM and 5 PM – 11 PM!
